Semi-custom cabinets provide great value for money while still maintaining many of the quality features of custom cabinets. For instance, the center panel of most door styles offered by a semi-custom cabinet manufacturer is made of solid wood as opposed to a veneer. Solid wood center panels will take the stain better than veneer, so your center panels look as good as the door frame and cabinet panels.
Semi-custom cabinets are pre-made or made to order cabinets that are carefully selected from the manufacturers catalogs. These cannot be individually customized, but the selection of different types and sizes is so large that for all practical purposes, individual customization has very few limitations.
