Custom Two-Tone Kitchen Design
This stunning kitchen features a custom two-tone cabinet design that pairs a warm wood island and hood with white perimeter cabinetry. The kitchen underwent a style and functionality transformation that was badly required to meet the family’s needs. In the original kitchen, the range was situated next to the dishwasher, resulting in a very cramped workspace. The new design included an update to the kitchen layout to improve the workspace and flow between the range, sink, and dishwasher. By moving the range and pairing it with a custom decorative wood hood in the same tone as the island, this area became a clear focal point in the kitchen design. The design improved the room’s storage by installing a larger, straighter island and by including custom storage accessories throughout the custom cabinet design. It also updated the kitchen cabinet style from oak to a lighter cabinet variety. The Cambria quartz countertop served as the color inspiration for the cabinetry, tile, and new LVT flooring, while an apron front sink in a light gray color coordinated with the countertop and wall tile. The result is a stunning new kitchen design style with improved storage, workspace, and layout.
