Our latest Partners in Design event took place on September 21st in our Lansing, MI showroom with a visit from Chad Jordan of Cravings Gourmet Popcorn. This Lansing, MI business is a small batch, craft gourmet popcorn company that prides itself on creating premium gluten-free and nut-free popcorn flavors. With Cravings Gourmet Popcorn, it’s “…all about fun. Candy, chocolate, beverages, and games to create a good time.” Chad is passionate about popcorn and was delighted to share his knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, and enthusiasm with us.
Chad Jordan’s presentation on September 21st was the fifth installment of our monthly Partners in Design event series. At our September 21st event, Chad told us all about the history of Cravings Gourmet Popcorn and the production process. He also talked us through how the selection of flavors works for his specialty gourmet popcorn treats, and then offered samples to the participants. We learned that Chad only uses Michigan corn kernels in his popcorn treats by developing and maintaining close relationships with local farmers. Featured Partner Bio for October: Konny Zsigo of Park Lake Creamery
Konny is half of the husband-and-wife team who own and manage Park Lake Creamery. This small chocolate, ice cream, and coffee shop offers stunning views of the lake, a gourmet dessert shop experience, and a full selection of delicious treats. Konny started his business because of his son’s interest, but his own passion for chocolates pushed him to continue leading the business even after his son lost interest. Park Lake Creamery prides itself on creating premium specialty treats from scratch, all made from wholesome ingredients.
