Our latest Partners in Design event was held on October 18th in our Lansing, MI showroom. This event was a huge success, with Konny and Nikki Zsigo of Park Lake Creamery joining us to talk about their small chocolate, ice cream, and coffee shop. They also educated us on the types of chocolates, fillings, and the chocolate making process.
This Bath, MI business is located a short drive from East Lansing, positioned along the peaceful and picturesque Park Lake. When you visit their café and shop you won’t want to leave! You can walk the dock, sit on the deck, feed the fish, or go for a boat ride, plus sample their amazing selection of goodies.
Konny and Nikki own and manage Park Lake Creamery, which offers a gourmet dessert shop experience and a full selection of delicious treats. Konny started his business because of his son’s interest, but his own passion for chocolates pushed him to continue leading the business even after his son lost interest. Park Lake Creamery prides itself on creating premium specialty treats from scratch, all made from wholesome ingredients.

Our monthly design partners join us for an afternoon of education and fun, where they share their knowledge and expertise on topics ranging from wine making to gourmet popcorn, plant care, and more.

Our October event with Park Lake Creamery was a deliciously informative presentation with samples and a lesson on how to eat and appreciate chocolate. Konny is a master chocolatier, and the participants were all amazed at the time and talent it takes to produce his hand-crafted chocolates. This event had a great turnout with lots of interest and questions about the chocolates and chocolate making. The participants were all left feeling inspired about Konny and Nikki’s passion for all things chocolate.

Chef Denene Vincent is the founder and executive chef of Le Chat Gourmet and host of Great Lakes Kitchen TV Show. She has been cooking professionally for over 25 years and traveling the world where she refined her culinary skills from Tuscany, Italy to Provence, France. Her travels and experience instilled an understanding of regional ingredients and cooking techniques. Le Chat offers hands-on cooking and baking classes for all skill levels in their state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor kitchens.
