Relaxing Spa Style Bath – Jackson, MI
This bathroom design updated the fixtures, materials, and color scheme to create the ultimate spa style bathroom. The customer’s key goals were to bring color and soft design elements to the space, while enhancing functionality. We added tile to the back wall behind the tub and removed the old jetted tub and replaced it with a freestanding tub, which became the centerpiece of the room. We also increased the shower size and installed a glass enclosure that allows a full view of the shower tile. By removing the soffit above the vanity and add a center storage tower to separate the “his and hers” vanity areas, we were able to enhance the room’s storage to accommodate two people. We also maintained the shape of the room, the existing storage closets, and the privacy wall between the vanity and toilet. The design added safety items that blend neatly with the design style while creating a universal design. We also improved the bathroom’s lighting and completed the look with the choice of wood stained doors, windows, and trim. The result is a stunning bathroom that balances style and functionality in a relaxing spa-style space.
