Bright Family Kitchen Design
This classic, bright kitchen design has a light airy style, updated with contrasting tones and patterns in the striking backsplash. The client wanted to transform their kitchen to create a larger and more open kitchen and gathering room by removing as much of the wall between the kitchen and the old family room as possible without compromising the structure, as well as the pillars in the old family room. They wanted to include a large island with a tabletop end that eliminates the need for a table and creates the ideal space for family life and entertaining. The design included updated and highly functional appliances, as well as non-trendy and timeless finishes to create a classic style. The color scheme created a lighter, brighter design vibe with a white perimeter and coffee bar cabinets balanced by a warm wood island and wood-toned laminate floor. The entire color scheme is beautifully accented by a dark blue picket tile backsplash. The result is a stunning kitchen design, with an ideal set up for daily life and entertaining.
